For me it's more proof that Fla.State coaches are always overrated because
the ACC is not good. When Wake Forest and Duke are serious competitors in the league, it tells me it's a pretty weak league.
When Bowden was ruling the ACC, the rest of the conference will consistently terrible. He was vastly overrated as a coach because
he dominated a crap league.

I’m just so happy they won. Did not want them to roll into Georgia next week losing that game today. Would be recipe for a blowout. Now they will be riding high. Hopefully Mizzou can do us a favor and deject the dogs of Athens

Imagine thinking Bobby Bowden was overrated. Before joining the ACC he would take his teams anywhere and play anyone. From 1987-2001 they were 35-11 against non-conference P5 opponents not named Florida. That includes the years they were still an independent. Over that same stretch they were 10-6 against the Gators and 11-3 in bowl games. So no, his dominance wasn’t due to the fact that he played in the ACC.
