I could be wrong, but I believe this only deals with the first notice from the NCAA. The Tunsil situation isn't even covered, so more could come later.

Would have more teeth if they imposed a postseason ban for the football team, but that would cost them too much money. Lol. Real big of them to ban the women's basketball team when they have little shot of making it to the NCAA tournament.

To surmise:

Ole Miss is willing to take a self-imposed, double-digit recruiting hit and coaches going down like flies. Freeze unwilling to tell the truth, the whole truth, in a court of law, fearing more out there. Yep, can mean only one little thing:

The gates of nzaa hades are a reckoning soon.

Is it just me or do I smell a hint of lack of institutional control around Oxford?

This also in the last paragraph:

On the first day of the 2016 NFL Draft, new information came to light involving a former football student-athlete," the letter said. "That very night, the University and NCAA began a joint review to determine whether bylaws have been violated, and we hope this review will be concluded soon. To ensure fairness to all parties and pursuant to [Committe of Infractions] procedure, we have asked the COI to remove the hearing from this summer's docket until this review can be completed and closed."

Some of the most serious violations without Tunsil's latest confession:

Violations:

28 total violations
13 football violations
11 current to Freeze
3 ineligible players for 4 seasons with falsified ACT score
Pass blame to ACT organization for own coach cheating


Self-impose:

11 scholarships over 4 years
Imposed fine of $154,325
10% reduction in recruiting visits

Well, that solves that.

It always makes me laugh when Alabama fans poke fun at other schools cheating, especially a team that currently owns them in head-to-head matchups. If you think Saban is bringing in number one classes cleanly while others cheat, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you for a great price.

Really dude, "own": By recent, you mean like a 5-minute egg?

I'm always amazed by rival fans who get real philosophical and a whole lot self-righteous when they are enduring nasty streaks of their own.

The way the rules are set up now, it doesn't matter. I would have to totally suspend reality to buy an ignorance act from him. As much as he mocked the masses that doubted his almost instant recruiting success was legit, he had his thumb in every discrepancy IMO. Loving the memory of his Richmond butthurt. He hinted at some shenanigans by Butch...couldn't believe you could land a top recruit clean. :lol: Funny thing, on this board there would be 14+ threads on doubting Butch survives and Bruin/Vol30 would spackle it into EVERY THREAD. :yuck:

More like the last two years eggs. Yup, ok miss may not have a damn thing to show for it,,but they own gumpland last two outings.
