This game is getting a lot of hype. Texas, a team we TN fans all know like to be a big fish in a little pond, are trying to look tough by scheduling an SEC opponent, and on the road no less.... So the scheduled Ole Miss? I guess they're expecting an easy win and the ability to say at the end of the season "we beat an SEC team". I seriously hope Ole Miss beats the living crap out of Texas

Interesting side note, 20% of Ole Miss student body is comprised of residents from Texas. Should be a very interesting clash when you consider that Ole Miss is leading the SEC in rushing and Total Offense, as well as several other key stats.

Nevertheless, I of course expect Texas to win... But it would be a glorious day if the weak link of the SEC, Ole Miss, could somehow pull off the upset against the powerhouse of the inferior Big 12

What are your thoughts?

Stadium will be electric. Most are saying this is their biggest non-conference game in over 60 years. I honestly would not be surprised if they won this game somehow. Hoping they do. Would be nice to see Texas embarrassed.

Got my hopes up. Thought this game might be tonight or something. Instead it's Washington State and UNLV. :ermm:

Yes it will. I have tickets in fact, since I'm living in this part of the country. They're going for $150 on stubhub and I got one for $20, so not a bad game to go to after I get finished watching TN end the streak against FL

I would love to Ole Miss beat the dog mess outta Texas. That would be another nail in Mac Brown's coffin.

Edit: This is probably not going to happen but I hope it does.

I'm not always a member of the "SEC SEC SEC" crowd, but I hope Ole Miss lays the wood to them.

I have some Longhorn friends who need a little humbling.

Im looking forward to see Leach roaming the sidelines again.

Hopefully he has a better performance that last week. Didn't look too good against BYU. I'm sure UNLV isn't very good though so he might have a better outing tonight.

You need a better social circle bud.

If Texas had a QB they'd be a title contender, but they don't so maybe ole miss has a chance.

Ole Miss is being hyped on the strength of beating what will be a 4-8 UTEP team. Texas should be a pretty solid 9 or 10 win team. I expect a Texas win by three TDs.

The grove might be electric, but I doubt the stadium will be.

I'll be honest and say that I agree with what Miss State chants after the National Anthem at every ballgame and any other chance they get....

GO TO H#!! ole miss!!!!!!!!

I think it will be. I was at the UTEP game. Crowd wasn't that bad. This will be the first time they've ever hosted Texas. It'll be a sell out. The whole place will be alive. Seeing as they are 2-0, the crowd will be excited. But by the end of the game it'll all die down. Texas will win big I'm afraid.

Same here, but I'd love to see the "other UT" lose

I live about an hour away from Oxford so I've gone to several games. I always enjoy it. The tailgating is top notch and the atmosphere isn't too bad either.

Oh yeah it's been great. The grove was a lot of fun...a little intense for my dad (and it can be tough if you're trying to find where a party's set up and you/they don't know the campus)

I'm actually a bit surprised how many Texas fans made the trip here (that or how many came out of the woodwork when Texas is nearby)

I saw a tweet that 20% of ole miss students are from Texas.

Good game so far; big play scoring

17-14 Texas; although ole Miss's last TD is under review

Edit: stepped out at the 20 (on the run) 17-7
