Prepare yourselves for a few more years of watching top recruits go to Ohio State, Michigan, Texas and yes, still Alabama. For a brief, glorious moment, I believed the hype. I thought we were on the cusp of building a dynasty à la Nick Saban or Bear Bryant. But Tennessee will always be the Penn State of the SEC; inconsistently competitive, usually losing to the two or three big dogs in the conference, and throwing in an ugly loss to a team we're supposed to beat. If we are to keep our big commits and reel in a few more, there will be no room for mistakes; we will have to beat both UGA and Bama, and UF, too. And then make a deep run in the playoffs.

With all due respect, this is just silly lol
A loss to Arkansas made you come to this conclusion? Every team, besides Texas, has a L right now. Winning matters but tradition, NIL, NFL opportunity does too. Tennessee will be fine.

Recruits aren’t gonna flip because we loss a game. It was a terrible loss but slow down. A lot of teams loss to teams they shouldn’t have today. Team still has a chance to respond. Be pissed but don’t say stuff that makes you come across as uneducated in the heat of the moment.

Look on the bright side.
We may still lose recruits to Alabama but they got a coach now that loses to Vandy.
Looks like Kirby and maybe Sark are the only ones in the SEC that won’t lose to at least one bum every year

So they’re not going to come here due to losing to Arkansas but they’ll go to Alabama who just lost to Vanderbilt. Yeah, sure, that logic checks out. Not.

Recruits will pay more attention to the Alabama, Florida and Georgia games/outcomes than Arkansas.

Texas will most likely lose a head scratcher too. It’s what college football has become. We wanted parity, well we got it

This is one of the dumbest posts on here in quite some time. Congrats.

There will always be a reactionary "the recruiting class will fall apart" thread after every loss.

The amount of stupidity that exists in this world is astounding. So, we lose a tough road game yesterday and now all of our recruits are going to go to places like Alabama….but Alabama loses in a stadium that is 50% Bama fans and is as quiet as a church against a worse opponent than us but their recruiting will be just fine?

Drama queens and children everywhere.

We have some of the most fragile fans in the country...
.... and they go from one extreme to the other at the drop of a hat. If we look impressive beating Florida (an average team, themselves), the playoff talk will start up again. Nico may even be talked up for the Heisman.

Don't ever invest in the stock market. You will be one of those people that sells the minute a stock drops a half point, then watch it go up 20 over the next two weeks and regret it.

SMH.... 🤣

When it comes to UT football, one GIF comes to mind.
