On a better note...

Would be nice to have half KY's talent.
Playing them twice with this crew won't be very pretty.

Well, we MIGHT get Maymon back by then and if so, I like our chances - even in Lexington.

Notre Dame was an understandable loss, but to lose to Baylor at home after 55 straight?

I like our chances against anybody with a healthy Maymon.
Doesn't look like it's in the cards though.
if he came back today, it would be January before he was close to 100%.
Without him, we're watching in March.
KY will be playing.

I'm not sold either way.. GTwn was embarrassing, but last year there was no way I thought we'd end up 10-6 in SEC play... anything can happen

Cuonzo needs to make them practice shooting foul shots until the sun comes up. A few shots made could change the outlook of the complete season.

3-11 against G. Town.. If we had just shot 5-11, which is still horrible for a college BB team, we would have probably won the game. Stokes must get better from the line or he is going to hacked a lot.

We are in such a bad state that we have to find happiness in other's failings!

First with UGA, now with UK!!!

Two points:
1) You've got the type of defensive team that can cause UK problems; against good teams, they have offensive problems [50 vs. ND; 55 vs. Baylor] They have, and will continue to have, PG problems and a lack of depth. Harrow is not the answer; Goodwin is a SG no matter where you play him. Keep it close and score just enough to win.

2) All of you need to realize that Maymon is not coming back this year. It's December, and from all accounts, he's not close to being able to practice. His knee is still suffering the infection. At some point, it is going to shift over to Maymon's/CCM's decision whether to just continuing rehab and come back 100% for 2013. How much real help could he be @ 60% to 80% healthy? It benefits all if he plays at full strength in 2013 (UT season, NBA prospects, etc.)

Good Luck!

Exactly. I hope Maymon doesn't rush a return and come back under 100%. Even if he did come back at this point in the season at 100%, he's already lost so much time on the court to just be thrown in the middle of an SEC schedule and expect to contribute major things. No thanks. We'll need him just as much next season as we do this season.
