They still have more talent than 90% of the ncaa. They are barely beating mid level non conference teams. Have fun jerk!!!!!

Didn't they win?
Didn't we lose?
I don't see how that's funny.

exactly. if you think about it in 08 our defense and entire team played pretty good we just sucked at qb. so the only thing i give kiffin credit for is being an excellent qb coach. but his managing an entire team skills suck. plus he always had no pressure with coaching teams with losing records. let's see how he ruins usc. they will be irrelevant for as long as kiffin coaches them and a few years after. love it.

All Kiffin needed was a kicker worth a damn and he would have spoiled Alabama's undefeated run last year.

There is the key part of the post... If people in H*ll had an air conditioner they would be a lot cooler, but they are still pretty hot...

I would win the lottery if I had the winning numbers, but I will still go to work tomorrow as I haven't won..

Kiffin lost the game either way..

He may have beat UF if he didn't run the ball at the end and tried to get to end zones... He didn't even try to win, he was going to use the "almost win" for recruiting..

Lincoln may have hit a closer Field Goal if he would have tried get a little closer in the Bama game instead of blaming the refs, decided to stay put and try it from so far away...

Hell the Raiders might have hit the 72 yard field goal if the bionic man had been kicking the ball....

Shoulda coulda woulda.. Kiffin lost the game as the Head coach... Just calling it as I see it...

Yeah, taking a team with a losing record the previous season and losing by 12 combined points to the defending national champions and the eventual national champions is clearly a sign that someone can't coach. I guess after Dooley loses to those teams by a combined 50+ this year, he makes Bill Battle look like Bear Bryant.

I doubt Saban thinks much of Kiffin's coaching ability beings he felt his team looked over TN last season.

There is no way in Hell that Saban didn't leave that game with much more respect for Kiffin than he had coming into the game. He isn't an idiot. Whether his team overlooked UT or not, Alabama should have slaughtered our depleted squad. UT's coaching was the reason it didn't happen.

And now he coaches at USC; Whom outside of Florida, Bama, and Texas, has more talent than any team in the nation, yet he can hardly muster wins against Virginia and Hawaii. He's a far cry from the coach Carroll is and was. Hell, he's probably the 5th or 6th rated HC in the Pac-10, and that's being generous.

And Carroll left them barely beating a terrible ACC squad Vanderbilt beat the previous year.
