The Tennessee bench told Rob Lewis of VolQuest that Maymon being out was due to a little tightness in his ankle/achilles. Lewis was told that Maymon definitely could have played, but they kept him out as a precaution.

How does that affect his ppg? I should know, but don't. Seems like there should be a minimum minutes played to qualify as a game.

It's also against a D-II club. So, I'm not sure if it factors in or not.

He sat on the bench the entire game and did not appear receive any obvious treatment during the game -- which leads ya to believe that it's not horribly serious. He was up and down on the bench supporting his teammates during big plays and time outs. He may have not played, but he still brought a lot of positive energy to the game with his body language and demeanor on the bench.

Two thumbs up for Mr. Maymon.
