If the kickoff goes into the endzone and we don't find the right personnel to improve our return specialists now, shouldn't we just down those end zone kicks and take the ball on the 25? It would give us better starting field position. We have no return specialist or scheme that threatens to break a big return and can't get it even returned back to the 20 more often than not.

I'm recalling one particular kickoff we even attempted to return from the back of the end zone and caused us to start our drive deep on our side of the field.

I pondered this last night bc we did not have good returns at all. But we should never just roll over and say we're not good enough to return the ball past the 25. It's a big momentum boost to get the ball out to the 40+

Maybe getting Wharton back will address this issue.

On punts we must be doing something wrong because the kicking team is always waiting for Cam to catch the ball.

D. Young apparently believes too much of what he has read on VN. There is a group on here that essentially raves about him as if he has won 5 Heisman trophies.

I doubt if any football players read this board. Unless they want some laughs.
