It was inevitable that VU win sometime. If they're going to do it, from out standpoint, this was the year. It was a lost season -- and did you really want to spend the holidays in Shreveport?

UT would be fine traveling. Our fan base is solid. Doubtful many of those posting would actually go to Shreveport but many would in the end to support our players

I am happy to avoid the weed eater.  Now fire CPF. Hire Cut as head coach and get it over with.

Agreed. Let's hire someone who couldn't get his last team to the SECCG to begin with.

Brillant!

the last team he coached was ole miss!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont care if he did have eli manning, we have TONS more talent on this team right now than ole miss EVER had and i would not doubt that DC could do a very fine job with this team. however, i love fulmer and would like for him to still be the HC but cut would be a very capable HC as well imo

Well, then. Do we not have great talent? That means Fulmer can't evaluate and bring superior talent to a school with top 5 facilities. On the other hand, if we do have great talent that means he and his handpicked staff can't coach. Which is it?

I think the last two years of 10 wins and an East Title show enough.

We had one bad year...big deal...deal with it.

We will be fine, especially with Sanders gone.

Its not just one bad year, 3 of the last 5 we havent finished out of the top 25. Those are bad years.

By the way I just saw some salary info. Fulmer makes 2 million and Sanders makes a $168,000. Who do you think should be responsible.

This is our worst year in quite a while. I believe that our outstanding recruiting is partially responsible for our record (seriously). It is easily recognizable that several of our 5* recruits are legends in their own minds. They will not stretch out, much less lay out to catch a pass. They hold on downfield plays, they drop passes, they don't run their routes. I believe the recruiting services and their rankings have blown up some kids who will be looking more to protect their pro careers rather than participate as a player on a team.
