On3: New recruiting site from Shannon Terry

Doesn't seem like he thought the name out as well this time. Rivals and 247 are both catchy. On3 is not; and has the disadvantage of having to be used like "I saw he committed on On3" with a double "on".

I was there for the start of 247 but not taking the bait this time. After 16 years of following recruiting, I no longer pay attention to the rankings. It's becoming more and more obvious that all they do is try to rank the guys based on who is recruiting them and how hard they are recruiting them. These people aren't talent evaluators, but I don't fault them for their method. In fact I think it's the most effective way to rank players. The method isn't infallible though. It favors proven coaches. The recruiting services don't give as much weight to the player evaluations & offers of up-and-coming or unsuccessful coaches.

He sells them to the big boys and they make no changes at all. His stuff continues to progress. This will definitely be the best of them all, purely because it will be innovative.

Yahoo still hasn't done anything with Rivals since they bought it.

He builds these networks and then sells them off to big media corporations, then just starts a new one. He's pretty good at what he does. Rivals was bought by Yahoo and 247 was bought by CBS.
Has there not hit a market saturation point for high school football recruiting sites?
