We have let a sub par team hang around a game with us because we choose to play terrible combinations of players...Hopson/Harris played about 5-7 minutes...now we have given the officals a chance to ruin the game which is happening with the no call on holden that gave michigan a basketball and the first hopson charge....HOORAY!!!!

Up by 6, then Pearl puts in the horrible offensive lineup. We have seen this time and time again. I really can't believe this isn't corrected at this point. On the other hand, great free throw shooting (besides Tatum), so that's kept us in the game.

Brian Williams and Hopson are sucking it up. Our 2-3 need to come back and help rebound because they are missing there three's long and they are getting long rebounds. Great game by Tobias keeping us in it. May need to give Tatum some more looks, he is playing with more confidence and is a matchup problem. Also, Brian Williams can't guard their 5 on the perimeter, Kenny Hall needs to be in or John Fields.

Agree, The hell with subing and trying to rest guys Pearl should play the best 6 and thats the end of story.

Pearl's substitution patterns continue to be baffling. I get playing lots of guys when you run a lot, but we are not that. 7 guys is sufficient. Ugh.

Hopson is the most overrated player in Tennessee history. Very talented, no question. But, rarely rises to meet the challenge.

Michigan is a subpar team. UT is absolutely awful. This game was a fitting, embarassing end to the Pearl regime.

This team just does not have any leaders. They don't play together and they REFUSE to play any defense! The only coach & the best coach for this team is Pat Summit. If they lady Vols would have played this game instead of the mens team, we would have had a better effort & outcome!!!! Please coach Summit switch locker rooms!!!!!:cray::cray::cray::cray::cray::cray:
