Ok with all the Miami/FIU crap going on, I caught something weird out here on the West Coast. Marshawn Lynch scored a TD in OT against UW. He then hopped in one of the injury carts and started driving it around the field like he was in a Benz or something. I personally think he should be disciplined for that action. That was like a rub in the face. What is your opinion?

It seemed excessive to me, especially since they had just beaten a team that is now .500 in OT. The fact is, whoever has control of that cart should have never allowed him to take it.

Let the man have some fun! I thought it was funny:rofl:

I thought I was just seeing things at first but I saw the same thing. Pretty funny stuff. Mabey he was trying to get some "style points" for the overtime win over UW.

I'm starting to get tired of the phrase "style points" from the analists.

Well, maybe it worked. I read that Cal is #2 in the Sagarin ratings. I don't understand how considering they barely survived against UW and the one decent team that they beat got smacked around by WSU.

I don't even begin to attempt to understand the computer rankings. It makes no sense to what happens on the field.

If anyone on the vols ever does this, I hope they will be punished

it is one thing to celebrate with your team.......it is another to make a joke of the sport

do not let this become pro football.........punish him

I know the Sagarin rankings has a SOS factor, but, out of the top 10 teams in that SOS, 9 teams were from the Pac 10. UF was #9 and I think the #11 team was the last Pac 10 team.

that is my gripe with the computers and why I don't understand them. PAC-10 teams are heavily favored in the computers for some god-forsaken reaosn. They have 3 teams in the top 25, we have 3 in the top 9, and 5 in the top 14 (AP). How is their schedules so much tougher?

I suppose they think that the Pac-10 is better top to bottom. The reasoning for that is, because after USC, the other 9 usually beat up on each other.

Alright... I've been putting some thought in to the Pac-10 rankings in the computer.

SOS is only rated up to that point, right? I think every Pac-10 team except two played a ranked team in their non-conf schedule. A lot of other conferences this year were lax on the non-conference games. Arizona State didn't, but they just played Oregon, Cal and USC all in a row, which would explain a high SOS. I think OSU was the other one, which is less explainable... Boise State and Cal are the only two tough ones. So idk there.

As the season goes on, like everybody said, things will even themselves out.
