I 100% think this is true. I'd rather take a head shot than have my knee blown out.

We're not playing dirty, and I don't believe we aim to "hurt" other players. The style of play has become more physical, and it was one of the major components missing in the program for nearly the last 7 years.

We saw a spike in physicality under Kiffy for one year, but otherwise we had become too much of a finesse team.

Even CBJ's staff said that they were used to working with more physical players when they first arrived at UT - hence all the conditioning and intensity training.

I would shut it down immediately after getting my first big guaranteed contract. I'd also laugh all the way to the bank.
