One group of people to praise for today

The band. Tumultuous week for them. They stayed professional. Great job by them today.

Does anyone know if there was a mic failure at the band today? They weren't broadcasting the band over the loudspeakers.

I know all about the "new" feeling they're trying to create in the stadium, but without broadcasting the Pride, all you can hear is the opposing team's band. Also, if today was an example of the "new" feeling, it was pretty amateurish. It was much better during the UGA game.

And, before anyone gets bent out of shape, I'm okay with mixing it up a bit with the "new feeling." However, purposeful or not, you could see that the lack of the Pride being broadcast through the loudspeakers had a negative affect on the coherency of the crowd today - not as much Rocky Top, V-O-L-S, etc. in sync across the stadium.

Maybe so, I'm near the opposing team - East Side of the Stadium. Others in my area were commenting on it, too.

I remember after we won a peewee football game one of our cheerleaders told us we wouldn't have won without them keeping us in the game.

We won 35 to 0.
