I would just have to go for every player that stepped foot on the field tonight. It's hard to dish out a game ball when so many players stepped up in the second half.

That would be a really tough call, Maybe 1 Ball for a hellish Defense.(as a unit) 1 Ball for a never say die Offensive effort. God its good to be a Tennessee VOL!

very tough call but it wouldnt be the first time they gave more than one out... one HAS to go to the defense.... we dont win that game if the defense doesnt play incredible.. rick clausen would probly be next in line but not far behind is cj fayton.... he's the man and should be given the ball every play.

If there's got to be a poll, then that means either the D or all of us don't get it.

I think the whole entire team deserves a game ball. But since the qb is the leader, I say give it to Rick. Before he came in our offense had no focus & Ainge was terribly shaken. Rick came in and although he wasn't perfect, he was calm & he got the offense to focus & that is what gave them confidence.

The D HAS to get the gb. The offense put them in impossible positions, and they held absolutely impossibly! Go VOLs.

I think you brought up an excellent point in that Wilhoit kept the ball out of Greens hands with 3 consecutive touchbacks.

Those get overlooked a lot! But it was KEY in keeping the LSU offense backed up.

I said defense. Actually, there should be 3 game balls-(1) defense, (2) Rick Clausen, and (3) Gerald Riggs. Way to go Vols! The record is still intact-Fulmer has not lost two consecutive SEC games.

" If there needs to be a poll."
No there shouldnt but since none of us and him/her? Played I said give one big ball to the D and then another to those that did step up on Offense.

Tough to say on this one. Like is mentioned above this game deserves multipe game balls, if not one for each player as lastnight, while there were a couple standouts that win was a TEAM effort, from Wilhoit and his FG to tie it up and putting those last 3 kick-offs into the back of the end-zone, to Clausen just playing like a man possesed to the D really stepping up in the second half and putting a lock-down on the LSU O. So after all that this one is a tough call, but my vote goes to Clausen.
