Pope gone.... :wavey:

Honestly i thought Pope would be more of the go to guy against us than he was. No Doubt he's a big nasty TE that can do it all. Allen kept it pretty quiet until that one play Pope rolled up some steam, Big love to JA, he had a horrible angle on the run away locomotive and still brought the big guy down.
There will be no jersey tackle on that guy even in the NFL.

Richt speaks as if Tereshinski has the job to lose. I would have to believe that is exactly what he hope's to happen.

All I have to say is I HATE GEORGIA!!! I was glad to see them lose to WVU. Maybe losing to WVU and Pope going Pro will send them into a tailspin :cross:

Doubt it. They lost to BC in the Music City Bowl in 2001 and rebounded quite nicely

Fade, for the record . . . I am a consistent hater. I've lived down here 25 years, and I even hated you guys when Goff was the coach . . . and believe me that was hard to do. :D

I actually went there for about a year and a half. I made that choice thanks to the HOPE scholarship. I can never pass on free college and the ability to commute to school. I proudly wore my orange on campus. I hounded Mike Bobo constantly and even joked with Robert Edwards when he was on crutches.

I used to have a tolerance for UGA fans. But the nastiness that has kicked in of late has put them above LSU as the worst fans to be around. I guess 20 years of sub-par play and coaching brings out the arrogance in some. Being right outside of Athens makes life even more fun.

Cspindizzy sorry for the bad experiences you have with our fans in the past. I can promise you that most of us are not all that bad. I think its like every team. We all have a few bad apples to ruin it for everyone.

Oh I know. Over half of the people I work with are UGA grads and most of my friends are fans. I don't mean to make an across the board generalization. It's just that since Richt came in, many fans have gone beyond excited to downright unruly.

I know some have gone overboard but thinkg going from Goff to Donnan (shudders) then finally we get Richt. You got to give us a little break. Thats almost a generation of losing right to 10 wins a year that a big emotional jump for some, you have got to expect some kind of emotional backlash. Anyway better days are ahead for all of us. You know what sucks though baseball and basketball. Man I like them both but you just cant replace southern football.
