well we aren't going to call him....really he's too good of a coach..dosn't fit with being mediocre

Most of the fans and many in the administration don't want Jimbo back at this point, however, the ball is in Jimbo's court as there is a massive buyout. Turning into a Lane Kiffin kind of thing down there... nasty.

The worry is he won't sign with TAM at least from FSU fans POV, generally.

I would say this makes it harder for Tennessee to land a good coach by there doesn't seem to by any interested in coming to Knoxville.

Anything less than 8-4 for Jimbo Fisher is unacceptable. This is his worst season at FSU since he's been there. Always 8 wins or better.

It has no impact on Tennessee. We were never in the running for Jimbo. Nice hire for A&M though... and this last line isn't true. Greg Schiano was plenty interested in coming to Knoxville... so was Jeff Brohm - he just wanted his $5 million buyout paid and we wouldn't do it. The only two confirmed "turn downs" so far are Mike Gundy and Dave Doeren (big deal).
