One non-negotiable requirement for Texas to join SEC

They are not allowed in until they sign a legally binding agreement that the University of Tennessee is the one and only “UT” and that Texas hereby forgoes any and all use of the moniker for their program. They will also take aggressive and ongoing action against any booster or supporter use of the term. Any violation results in an immediate forfeiture of a conference game and the loss of five scholarships

Even after Sam Houston and the boys routed the Mexicans after the Alamo (God rest Crockett's soul) and saved Texas from impending doom and a centuries long diet of tortillas and beans made with lard! I've had some Texas fans smart off at me about them being the "real UT". I always ask them who they owe their independence to? Dont get me wrong. Love Texas, the State That gave the World Buc-ees; but names are property and in this case we laid claim long before them squatters in Austin came in and tried to jump our claim. Ain’t no call for that now!
