One of the few times I've understood what he said

Coach O is not very intelligent, but he's also one of the realest people in that profession. Very few coaches would ever admit what he said there at the end.

'not very intelligent'?.....he figured out how to make a lot of money in his profession and now he can do whatever he wants to...I guess brains aren't everything then, huh?

He seems like a very nice guy, but just like Jeremy Pruitt, I can’t believe any AD or President wants that as the face of their University.
LSU is really the only school that I can imagine actually wanting him to be their HC, but what's wild is that if you count interim gigs he's been a HC at 3 different schools. He's said that the only reason he didn't get the USC job is because their admin didn't think he fit in there, which is like the understatement of the millennium.

His personality is light years ahead of Pruitt's. Pruitt has a low level of intellect combined with the charisma of a damp rag.

They absolutely are not, but he totally fell into that HC job at LSU. Their people wanted either Jimbo or Tom Herman.

Relatively speaking... he isn't intelligent when you look at the guys he's compared to.
If Coach O didn't get into football, he'd be the sales manager at a car dealership or a Verizon store. I don't say that to be disrespectful either to him or those jobs, but that's the impression I get about him. I'd make the same comment about most college football coaches.

They aren't all like Saban, where if they weren't in football they'd be at the executive level at a large company.

Word outta La is he didn’t get $17 mil. Their AD negotiated it down by about 50% cause they could have fired him for cause but didn’t want the negative publicity treating a NC winning coach like that & to alienate their fan base more.

I can't stand the guy after what he pulled when he was here at UT...Calling our commited recruits on UT cell phones and telling them not to go to class and that they would have a place for them at USC.....Screw him.

Well look at what he attained and compare it to what you have attained and then reevaluate your post.
There are all sorts of people with lots of money who aren't all that intelligent. In fact, really intelligent people often talk themselves out of risk-taking situations and end up working for entrepreneurs who threw caution to the wind.

Totally off topic. I've been going the back roads to skip Atlanta for 5-6 years now when going south, and getting on 75 in Macon. How the crap long they gonna be doing road work through there?! It's been going on since I started going that way 🤣

The 16/75 interchange is the most ridiculous road project I’ve ever seen. It’s about 3-4 years in now and it doesn’t look like it’s anywhere close to done.

Luckily I went through early, but I know it's been a while since they've been working on it.
