No way Tressell gets a sniff at it. the one thing that blew the deal with c strong was the caveat that he could not bring any assistant coaches under investigation by the ncaa, he has more than one that were named in the yahoo sports investigation involving nevin shapiro. tressell has a show cause letter and our probation just got extended so I don't see us offering him.

From someone who wanted Fulmer fired, I want Fulmer over Tressel. Tressel is the most Vanilla coach out there, predictable offense and has no clue how to beat an SEC school. OSU gets 4 and 5 star recruits whoever is there. No indication he could recruit talent to UT. Fulmer would give this job hell if he got the chance. Not saying he would be successful, but I would rather be mediocre with him at the helm than Tressel. Plus, Tressel is a scum bag. Not because of what he did, but because of the image of purity he worked to portrait, knowing he was dirty. And then, the most classless move of all, he delayed suspension of his players until the NEXT YEAR, knowing that Pryor was going PRO. Screw Tressel and Tressel lovers.

Pay Fulmer 1 million a year and give him 5 mill a year for coaching staff and he would hump Hart's leg for the job. I would take it at this point, Assuming no Gruden or Strong ( or Dave Shaw who I think would be the bet hire).

Had we kept Fulmer, we wouldn't be in this mess. Hindsite is always 20/20, but the fans got their wish. Dave Clawson ended Phil's career. I guarantee you Fulmer would still be here had he hired a competent OC.
