Buzz around here is that wide receivers DJ Hall and Keith Brown have some discipline related issues.

Very little I can find in the news. Boards are saying (also heard on Finebaum) that DJ Hall has been suspended and sent home. Not sure what is up with Keith Brown but his name keeps popping up as well.

With Prothro most likely not back, losing these two would be huge for the Tide.

Looks like bama is starting to make a run at the Fulmer cup.

CMS and his staff as well as Tide fans are generally pretty tight lipped about player problems. In short, Hall may not earn Bammer any Fulmer Cup points.

You are so right. Bama football players are like Gods to their fans and in particular the UAPD and TPD. They go to extremes down there to keep their players out of the news. They have as many off the field issues as most teams but do a darn good job keeping their mouths shut.

Amen brother. The only players they'll talk about are those from other teams...

Come on now, you Vols in Bama are supposed to be our spies when it comes to this kind of stuff. Go out and seek the truth.

I'll expect a full page report by tomorrow.

You got that right. Here are a couple of posts on Tide Fans to prove our point. First is from the Admin of the site.

Posts: 10,475 WR situation for '06: DJ Hall suspended...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were informed a little over a week ago that DJ had been sent home/suspended until further notice. (it's the current hot topic building around Bama sites this morning...TI in it's current "meltdown phase." ) Like his last suspension, we aren't going to be the "news breakers" on why...will just say that he has some things he needs to get straight in his life.

That being said...there is some doubt with Brown also. He has some work he needs to get done himself but from accounts we've received he's been working to get back into the good graces of the staff along with getting his "priorities" in order.

We won't be a placebo for your angst in wondering why...neither will we be the salve for the "cut" this might make in your expectations for '06.

We'll watch this thread carefully...let's keep the rumors and thoughts not to mention player criticisms at bay.

Second is from a tinfoil hat wearing bammer conspiracy kook who hasn't lived in reality in years.

Terry,

I don't mean to be ugly, but what the h*** is going on down there? I know that 'boys will be boys', and that none of these guys are saints, but.... This makes several instances in the last week we have had serious disciplinary issues come up involving the team. I guess I am mad because it just seems out of character for us...we usually don't have this many problems of this nature. What's up?
