How would you like to play this team in high school. The Byrnes Rebels are stacked.

Marcus Lattimore, RB, 5-11, 190 - It all begins with the state's top player. A contributor since his freshman year, Lattimore enters the season as a five-star prospect ranked No. 4 on the Rivals100 list. He's explosive and has great speed, in addition to solid receiver skills out of the backfield. Has numerous offers from around the country - definitely on the Most Wanted list.

Corey Miller, DE, 6-4, 227 - All the upside in the world. Has excellent height, long arms and a frame that can easily hold 30 or so more pounds. Is a monser on the outside of this defense and will make it difficult on the competition to run wide or have any time to throw the football.

Brandon Willis, DE, 6-4, 250 - Has an unbelievable power base that allows him to explode off the snap of the ball. He also does a really nice job using his hands at the point of contact. Coupled with Miller, is an offensive coordinator's nightmare.

Torian Richardson, WR - 5-10, 175 - Richardson has excellent vertical ability and all the skills to play either side of the ball. He has five offers on the table currenlty.

Jazz King, WR, 5-11, 180 - King is an outstanding athlete who was a SPARQ camp phenom last year. Has excellent speed, great hands, and dangerous with the football.

Nick Jones, DB, 5-8, 178 - Nick is a physical player for his size and has great hips and change of direction speed. Plays with great instincts in the secondary. Has three offers on the table already.

Zach Miller, DB, 5-11, 167 - Miller has excellent speed and has been timed at a 4.4; like Jones, has great hips and very sticky in coverage.

Chas Dodd, QB, 5-11, 170 - Dodd was one of the state's most productive quarterbacks last season. Has excellent mechanics and a strong arm, in addition to dangerous weapons he is surrounded by. Has generated interest from several schools, including heavy interest from Wake Forest that could turn into an offer.

Byrnes is awesome and usually nationally ranked. I saw them at the Adidas 7 on 7 at UT a couple of years ago when they had Prince Miller (Georgia) and Willy Korn (Clemson)

for the most part MBA has been able to hang in there with the big teams around the country.

I wouldn't be surprised if Maryville beat a team like Byrnes. Obviously they would be a big underdog, but Maryville is the absolute epitome of team football. There have never been any big time recruits other than Carl Stewart and Aaron Douglas, and yet they continually dominate.

Following up on some reports here on the board, Jamie Newberg has confirmed with Chris Dunkley that he has transferred to Pahokee H.S. He starts school tomorrow.

Nuke has a pretty good arm too. At the 4:15 mark he throws a 55-60 pass that was picked off but could have been caught.
