Would be Milton exercise a little more discipline when throwing the long ball. Several times he tried to force the pass and I know he could have pulled the ball in and ran for 7-8 yards minimum at least once probably more. But I enjoy him running the ball around end , open gaps, he adds options to the offense.

I thought Milton and the offense played good enough and improved from previous games. The thing that stuck out to me was our secondary laying back so far and letting Kentucky's receivers run for easy 1st downs all night long. We shut down the run pretty good, but then give up an easy 10 or 15 yard pass before making contact with their receivers. My wish is for our defensive coordinators up in the booths make adjustments , but seems like it goes on the full 60 minutes

Milton looked better last night but I think that was more a function of the WR getting separation. Joe was still staring down receivers and not getting past his first read. I know 17 of 21 is 80% with a TD and no INT is great for Milton and we won. This is a team sport and the team won by running the ball and passing just enough to keep the KY defense off balance.

I see you're off the Nico pipe, and that's a good start. I haven't checked the stats, but it appears Milton is improving in the latter half of the season. I like his comment to the announcer that getting hit puts him in a better rhythm during the game, so running is now part of his arsenal.

It kinda makes up for the lack of down field shots and serves almost the same purpose by keeping the D honest.

Now if they can just figure out how to get TDs instead of FGs, some of these games might not even be close.
