Pretty sure there's a bill in motion for beer at concerts at TBA and Neyland. Might not be too far off.

Wow...7-2? That's a bit surprising. We're such a sports crazed nation and I really think it's a bad move. The move towards in game betting and making bets from your phone is going to ruin a lot of people's bank accounts and lives. I know there are people who can gamble in moderation but I really think that's a small minority. Plus with betting taking place right on your phone--it's going to be even more addicting. Sports betting has become so mainstream in the public and the sports media and I guess state lawmakers want the revenue. Funny how that works--yet we can't get anything done to somewhat decriminalize marijuana, which would be a lot more benign to the general public.

You have it up and running yet? I want to bet on college football but to my knowledge there aren't any online sportsbooks taking bets in Tennessee yet.

I use betus.com, its fun but I've heard its a pain to get a payout. Haven't tried yet.

Hot Springs, AR has sportsbook betting now. Why we don't have casinos in TN is still crazy. We're surrounded by states with Casinos, and our money leaves TN everyday.

I signed up for Fanduel and they still say they don't accept actual bets unless you are from New Jersey or PA. They said they won't be ready until around first of the year. I found that odd

Brick and mortar casinos aren't a good deal for localities, especially when areas become saturated.

You may be right, having all that Tennessee money going to Arkansan and Tunica, NC or Nevada is better than having casinos in TN, for God's Sake, people that are now going out of state to gamble, or going on line, would be spending their money here, that may saturate our state. Great Post!

As long as we have scratch off tickets and a lottery, we have gambling, period. The problem is with the Casino operators, they don't want states to decide their fate, they would rather expand, when they see fit. I believe it is legal in every state of the Union to bet on the stock market-futures market, etc., never let anyone tell you," it ain't a gamble"....

I think Capital One has put a limit on their cards and alot of the smaller banks so far, as chargebacks and non payers add up its coming for alot of them
