Yeah somebody was trying to say we drop 7 or 8 spots after that game. I told them they were crazy. We got beat by a team ranked higher than us by 1 pt. I'd say where we are is about right.

That's irrelevant. Just ask MHF about the UF and MSU game and he'll fill you in that it doesn't matter how many starters are missing from a team, if an SEC team beats them, it automatically qualifies as a groundbreaking win for the conference.

Yea, we could have all conference teams make the tournament this year. Even Auburn may win one game of significance that will propell them into a great team.

This whole ranking system is irrelevant. Every time I watch a game on ESPN it is a joke. How could Florida 8 spots behind a team they beat? How can UK be number 4 when they almost lost their first game to a team in the top 100 rankings.

The whole ranking is a joke until mid December, so who cares what they rank us. If we were UNC or Duke we would be in the top 10.

Because Florida didn't play a MSU team at full strength and shot about 20% from the field in that game. The refs bailed them out.

UK played Miami in their second game

(and yes, I know 20% was an exaggeration)

You need to listen to MHF. You are trying to use facts to distort the outcome. Florida won, so naturally they are a top ten team and will absolutely make the tournament this year---MHF logic.

Hell, Memphis played Kansas to the buzzer, surely that makes them the second best team in the country.

I think we are a top 20-12 team all season, but until Wayne and Brian can become consistent and dominate inside, we shouldn't be top 10.
