The story I heard was they had vandals break in the stadium and broke a piece of the rock off.

As far as Howard's Rock is concerned, Frank Howard is an Alabama boy and played at the University of Alabama. Someday, when Pruitt's career is over perhaps you too could get you something to remember him by.
