This is the breakdown of SEC OOC matchups. Outside of the SEC, no other major conference matches up to our overall OOC. However, there are some teams that are making the bucks off their OOC. The toughest OOC of any conference has to be awarded to the Sunbelt. Those guys will play up to anyone. My non-SEC tough boys OOC, all from the Sunbelt, are all tied for top honors by me: Troy-MTSU-FIU-FAU-Ark. State. My SEC patsies, based on the programs they are go Auburn and Arky. UGA would have my top honor with 2 BCS opponents and a very tough Troy.

Florida= W. Ky. / Troy / Fl. Atl. / FSU
UT=Cal / So. Miss / Ark. State / La-Laf.
Bama=W. Car. / FSU / Houston / La-Monroe
LSU=V Tech / MTSU / Tulane / La Tech
UGA=Ok. State / W. Car. / Troy / Ga. Tech
Vandy=Richmond / E. Mich / Miami-OH / Wake
Arky=Troy / N. Texas / Chatt. / Fl. I'ntl
Ole Miss=Memphis / Mizzou / La Tech / NW State
Kentucky=E. Ky. / Kent / L'ville / Fl. Atl.
So. Car.=La-Laf. / SC State / UNC / Clemson
Auburn=K State / USF / New Mex. St. / Tenn Tech
MSU=Tulane / Gar-Webb / UAB / WVU

An unusually strong year for the SEC.

Georgia has no right to talk, though. They haven't left the south in like 50 years.

Pac-10 usually does the toughest OOC.

Zona: @ BYU, Norther Arizona, New Mexico
ASU: San Jose State, Colorado, San Diego State
Cal: Tennessee, @ Colorado State, Louisiana Tech
UofO: Houston, @ Michigan, Fresno State
OSU: Utah, @ Cincinnati, Idaho State
Stanford: San Jose State, TCU, Notre Dame
UCLA: BYU, @ Utah, Notre Dame
USC: Idaho, @ Nebraska, @ Notre Dame
UDub: @ Syracuse, Boise State, Ohio State, @ Hawaii
Wazzu: @ Wisconsin, San Diego State, Idaho

Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon State's schedules aren't that hot, but the rest are decent. Especially UDub's.

Cool. Looking forward to it. OOC scheduling from the top of half of the SEC has honestly been lacking the last couple of years... Good to see some changes.

As most P10 teams do sport 1 major program OOC, and most in a BCS conf., only a couple go further and add a 2nd top tier team. Individually, there are maybe 3 really tough OOC in the P10. As a whole, not so much.

I must admit, and I do so as unbiased as I can here, even the bottom sector of the SEC has chosen a tougher OOC. Tougher than some of the top half of other major conferences. This is a pretty tough OOC as a whole conference, and would be tough to challenge. Except for the Sunbelt, and they're chasing whipping boy money. But, a few of those can actually sneak up on you. Troy would be about the same as putting on So. Miss.

^ Yep. Troy scares some teams like FSU because the other team takes the game off. Southern Miss, on the other hand, is actually quite strong for a mid-major program.

Don't be too critical of Troy. While they may not quite be up to So. Miss., they are becoming a much better D1 program. They have tasted NC's before before moving up. A victory over a BCS team would be no less to them. They enroll around 30,000, and have good resources. A good portion of their programs have had past championship success. I wouldn't pull first team out until it was definitely a sure thing. I wouldn't drop them between 2 big games, or prior to a week off.

So. Miss is not necessarily a mid-major. They are the largest university in Miss. I believe I am correct. They have never had the opportunity to move into a major conference and solidify their presence.

Cats aren´t going too lightweight with Louisville, then a decent MAC program in Kent.
