Man yall dont know the half of Smith hes an amazing lineman i played against him when he went to Hunter Middle School and have watched him ever since hes great

With Orgeron as the coach our defensive line will be the best in the country and we will be an NFL factory for years to come.

I guess iv been out of the loop for awhile. But iv never herd of him. And I think that's bc he really isn't that great. The reason I say that is bc there are other players that most people seem to have a hard on for. And now that some of the players we really want have decided on other schools now this guy becomes the greatest player on the block. How many stars does this guy have?

People have been excited about Jac since LAST signing day when he gave his verbal to Kiffin. He's all Vol, has always been all Vol, and everyone on this board has given him props for the past year. To say that you've been "out of the loop" is kinda like saying the Grand Canyon is a hole in the ground. True... but a vast understatement of truth. Oh btw... Merry Christmas.

Yeah, he's not that great, I mean he's only a USA Today first-team All American.

Not alot of posting about Smith because there's very little controversy or questions around his recruitment. He's 100% Vol and always has been. That has probably hurt him with Rivals too. I've seen it before... it is how Chris Donald and Ben Martin get 5* while Walker gets 4*.

Kids who are question marks continue to get pursued, get attention, and have their rankings go up. Guys who are solid tend to get less attention so their rankings don't go up as often.

For whatever it might be worth, Scout has Smith as a 5*.

Jbeard, Jac may be Eric's favorite prospect of all time. It seems he was talking about pimping a Jac jersey during last year's recruiting frenzy.

Simply put, Jac is one of the finest in this class.

I agree the reason he doesn't have billions of post is that he is all Vol and there's no controversy... a superstar athlete born with orange blood like EB.
