I know we have another coaching change thread, but I thought it would be good to have one to show all the changes in one post. I'll update as they come open or are filled.

In FBS, 17 jobs have come open as of Dec. 9. 16 have been filled. Number of changes over the past seven seasons: 22 (2008), 23 (2009), 24 (2010), 28 (2011), 31 (2012), 20 (2013), 15 (2014) and 29 (2015).

I like Willie Taggart, I really do. But this is Phil Knight money and that's who he gets? I have a hard time believing that Willie was at the top of their list. Tired of hearing about the Phil Knight draw. It's all about gimmicky uniform combos, lol.

Strong to Temple, Tuberville to FAU? Those guys must love coaching


Temple: The school has talked with Charlie Strong about its head coaching job, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. The paper adds that Temple players want the school to promote defensive coordinator Phil Snow.

Florida Atlantic: Tommy Tuberville’s reps have reached out to FAU and expressed his interest in the job, according to the Miami Herald.

Looking more and more likely

South Florida: USF is pursuing Charlie Strong, according to Florida Football Insiders and the Tampa Bay Times, which adds that “this could wrap up quickly."

USF:*South Florida*has “zeroed in” on Charlie Strong and a decision could come soon, according to a report from Roy Cummings. Cummings adds that “USF is acting quickly to have him in place and contacting / reassuring recruits this weekend before the ‘dead period’ begins next week.” Cummings adds that Strong could come on the cheap, leaving Texas on the hook for the majority of his buyout.
