Perfect example of a disgraceful fan right here ladies and gentlemen. Morons like u should be banned from this site. I'm not the fondest of this staff either but these guys left there jobs to come here to help try ad turn this program around. Obviously it's not gonna happen overnight and lets face the facts, how many of these players that are playing was recruited by cbj and staff? This years recruiting class speaks volumes for this staff especially since we have took several beatdowns this season and these commits are not wavering for a second. Now u tell me they are not doing a helluva job on the recruiting trail. I'm just like everyone else I'm SICK of getting slapped around week in week out but cbj can't fix a decade of wrongdoing and piss poor coaching and recruiting overnight. So either jump on board and give your full support if your are a TRUE VFL or kick rocks!!!!

Remember, Auburn's last four signing classes were in the top ten and one class was #4. our 2013 class we only had 5 four star players and no #5's also remember last Auburn coach won the national campion ship with Cam Newton. You just have to have big time and smart players . Our 2014 class is a start. We need three more of these classes.

We've been through this before. The excuse for Dooley was "we don't have the talent because Hunter and Bray got hurt". Now the excuse for Butch is "we don't have the talent because Dooley was a bad coach."

We need to start holding coaches accountable for putting a competitive team on the field!

Dooley had one blowout victory in 3 years in Neyland Stadium and it was over Butch Jones and the Cincinnati Bearcats. Ironically, Butch went for it on 4th & 1 several times that day and did not make it.

getting to a bowl game and having those extra practices for the young players would be far better than trying them in the next two. So they better continue to play those that they believe give them the best chance to get those extra practices.. whoever they happen to be

if you enjoy 5 win type seasons, then you would love to continue to see coaching changes. we have had 6 years of changes and we continue with 5 win seasons.

think about that...

There appear to be character and toughness problems with many seniors on this team. Many of them p[lay hard about 50-60 % of the time.

Chip Kelly is not better than CBJ (both could do well up north where football is weak, but as soon as they came down south both got their asses handed to them by Saban). Same thing happening at Arkansas with their new HC who was a star at Wisconsin but is getting pummeled in SEC.

Every game we've lost, we were supposed to lose with the exception of South Carolina according to the experts. A 6-6 season this year was to be a good year. Most expected us to finish 5-7, so I'm not throwing Butch under the bus yet. He needs and deserves more time to fix this mess. Our defense while not good is better than last years. Last years was an all time low. We need all the speed we can get on both sides of the ball and try to cut the talent gape that exists. It will not occur in one season. Auburn was one year removed from a national championship and their talent level is not the same as ours. They got the old offensive coordinator back and their balling again. Give them credit. Our situation will take longer. Please be a realist and stop being a dreamer. We have to start somewhere and Butch's positive vibe within our program is the change we needed. Give the guy a break and let him coach our current guys up more and get some new blood in here. After a year or two, then you can be critical.

Unless the coaches read this forum which is probably highly likely given how much emphasis CBJ puts on twitter and social media - CBJ really does seem to want to shape and influence public opinion (this is not a criticism by the way as it probably helps recruiting).

Of course they don't read every post but if you don't think CBJ has a way to measure general fan temperature you are naive. He seems very methodical and it would be out of character and surprising if he is not very concerned about the perception he and his staff have made so far with the fans (and where better to see that than on these types of forums).
