I'm not going to make you read an epistle to Dave Hart.
You won't need to read any letters to Coach Dooley.
I cannot bother you with how I may like or dislike any head coach or coordinator.
It really doesn't matter how I feel about a player.
I don't pretend to know if there will be a new coach or who might get that job.
I have preferences but they are my own thoughts.

However, I do want all vol fans to be on board to BEAT VANDY! I don't want to just win (although if that's all there is, it will work), I want to BEAT THE LIVING CRAP out of those snotty brats from Nashville.

I would love to beat Vandy and KY Jelly just as long as it doesnt secure CDD another year of him on our sidelines. I know you NashVegas folks may not want to hear that but we need a NEW COACHING STAFF MORE THAN WE NEED TO BEAT two lowly SEC teams.

meh. these I'm-making-a-stand/pep rally threads are usually overrated. but, ill lay off the negavol stuff for this one. the. just BEAT VANDY. as my old coach used to say "knock the snot out of them"

Many good leaders in history were willing to win the battle to sacrifice the war. Not this VFL. Would you give up this Vol Victory if Gruden would agree to be our new coach? That is the mentaility of great leaders.

NO. I want to win battles and wars. If Gruden demanded a loss in exchange for a signature, I would hope that Hart would tell him to kiss his ass because blackmail is illegal as well as demeaning. If you would sacrifice your stature to kiss Gruden's ass, I'm sure you would have company line up with you. I won't be in that line.

When Phil was our coach, he lost to the big players and beat the nobody's. That is what prolonged the agony of VN for many years. This is Deja Vu. I want the Vols to win but not at the expense of the UTAD getting the warm and fuzzies and keeping our current coaching staff in place.
