FSU hasn't won a game by less than 14 (albeit against a pretty meh schedule) and their average score against ranked opponents is 50-9. Auburn needed two utterly ridiculous miracles to win the SEC and won six games by a touchdown or less. The line is fair.

Florida State has an amazing
Offense and an amazing defense. Auburn has an amazing offense and an average defense. FSU is a talented team that deserves to be the favorite.
I think over the course of the season the results might dictate that line. But currently I think Auburn is closer to FSU than that

I know a lot of you guys are holding
FSU's schedule against them, but they did nothing less than take care of business in convincing fashion unlike Ohio state. A 51-14 win AT a top ten Clemson team is the most impressive performance all year. FSU is what hope to be after 3 or 4 more top ten or hopefully top 5 recruiting classes. Auburn had difficulty stopping James Franklin and a pretty stellar group of tall receivers from Missouri. Now imagine them trying to stop a heist an winner and probably an even better receiving core. Also not to mention FSU has a fast talented defense. Auburn isn't rushing for 500 yards against Florida state. The difference between a notre dame team that didn't play a strong schedule and an FSU team that didn't have a strong schedule is the fact that FSU actually LOOKED like a top 5 team and they have top 5 recruiting classes to show for it. Idk why I made such a long write up for FSU. Feels weird.
Clemson is garbage and was nowhere near a top 10 team. this is just like when oklahoma was the talk of the country with their high powered offense. but in reality they were beating other highly ranked teams like texas and texas tech who were overrated. none of them had any defense or played any true championship caliber teams and when florida got ahold of them they tore then apart. i see the same thing happening this year.
