Opinions Section W

I will be sitting in section W row 8 this season what do you guys that have sat in that area think about them? I have always sat in the north end zone. Never on the sidelines

I prefer the sidelines, but as long as I'm in the stadium it's good.

I have sat in AA and Z15. I would prefer your section though because the sun is brutal on the visitor side during day games. Thank God I wore sunscreen at the Troy game or I would have been cooked!!!!

Not a bad seat in the house. Row 8 is a little low for my tastes though.

I don't have an opinion, but I would just like to commend you and say how much I like this thread title. IMO, it is a model for how all threads should be titled: concise and directly to the point. Two words + one letter and I didn't even have to click on it to know exactly what it was. Good job.

No, but you'll have issues with figuring out what happens when the ball is in the South Endzone. Just watch the Jumbotron.

W is a great section but I prefer a little higher than 8 also. I don't like the view from that low. But it isn't like it is a bad view! I dont think W will be behind the players. If so barely. My memory is that section looks at the 20 yd line which is outside the players.

Great seats. Sat in W row #7 for years and loved them. Now the home side is there it can only be better IMO. :good!:

Pretty much. Row 8 is a little too close for my taste. Ive sat in W on row 20 and wished it was a few rows higher.

Row 20 would need to be higher. There are people walking in front of you for 4 quarters ... more if it goes OT.

I think you're going to love those seats. I'm two sections to your right on about the same row. Up that high, you'll see the whole field and the Jumbotron and probably be under cover. Only downside will be the sun in your eyes, but that's what they make sunglasses for.

I sit on row 24 sec.w love the seats , wouldn't pay the donation for them we got ours by the school screwing up we donated for x1 and had our seats given to someone else. So in response they gave us the sec. W tic for x1 money and we are locked in. They are about dead even in my book as far as game experience. Only other place I would like to try sitting is row 1 in the upper deck always thought those would be pretty cool. Anyways welcome to the club and enjoy them.GO VOLS!

Well hopefully they will be decent tickets. As season tickets are not cheap. I know when they get down past the 50 ill have to watch the jumbotron to really see what's going on and that's ok. I just don't want to have a difficult time seeing what's hailing when they are right in front of me. I was afraid the players or the cheerleaders or camera men might he in my way.

imo row 8 is lower than i like. but, i like low in the upper deck and some people hate the upper deck. ymmv.

it is a good point about the sun. the east side can be hotter than hades early in the season.
