Does anyone know the format of the game Saturday? Are they actually playing a 4 quarter game or something else. I know a few years ago they've only did a half of a game, the rest was drills.

I think they are having a dunking machine with Pruitt in it. Each player gets 3 throws with a football.

Did I mention that there are sharks in the tank all named NCAA.

Actually I have no idea what the format will be I just assumed it would be drills and a small short scrimage-ish game.

Will there be tailgating, and can I drink a bunch of beer in public without being arrested?? No, seriously tho. I don’t want to get arrested.

I think the coaches will mainly showcase our QBs to appease the curiosity of the fans about both Nico and Joe. So most offensive plays will be passing situations. The RBs will see some action, but not as much to avoid banging them up before fall practice. Another reason to showcase the passing attack is to take a hard look at our CBs development. Least that's what the dog told me. The cracked crystal was silent, so I have to just go by what the dog said.

Just to bring your original question back on track...

Need To Know: 2023 Orange & White Game - University of Tennessee Athletics
I would guess that whenever they announce the format--or anything new about the game--the video will show up on this webpage first. So check pack with that through the day.

Meanwhile, enjoy Coach Ekeler's video. That will make your mouth water!

Hopefully something that resembles a football game. As an extra bonus put Pruitt in the end zone and let Joe hit him on the shiny noggin with an orange

offense versus defense, not a game. controlled. will work on things like red zone plays.

its a scrimmage more than a game. very controlled

As long as they don't consult Butch for the format, I guess it will be OK. Still would prefer just a normal game like they used to do.
