Does it mention a miraculous healing by Hooker?

I share your wish. However, if it did, he probably wouldn't play. His USCe injury would drive it home loud and clear the risk of becoming undraftable due to further injury.

That same risk is prevelant in every game.

Ever heard of having some sense knocked into your head? Probably not. His injury more than likely did that for him, if he did recover miraculously in time to bowl play. Ever heard of once bitten, twice shy? Probably not. Only people with a properly prescribed dose of common sense can hear such messages. Hooker got game/season ending injured. If he miraculously recovered enough to play in the bowl with the draft looming, plus being a senior, he'd unlikely act as your personal trained monkey, go on the field and play as you selfishly insist. You don't care if he loses the only chance he'll ever get to be financially secure. Fortunately, he does care. So do some of the wiser heads here on VN.

You can get hurt in any game.

WOW!!!! Oh WoW! Clearly, you didn't truly read my earlier response. You're either cognitively deaf, or your heart is a flower bed overridden with black velvet roses. Fertilized with composted cow manure. Wow! Just Wow!

If I were HH, I would punch you in the face for saying that.

Hendon is a fine Christian man, unlike you, so if you were him, you'd do no such thing. Therein lies the difference between you and he.

Ever heard of "team"? Apparently not.

I guess he should've quit after Bama and left on a high note and avoided future injuries

I read it. It was poingnant. My question would be why stage an Orange Bowl @ all?

I mean imagine if Nico got hurt in practice. What would we ever do?

A very fascinating question. However, the post exchange betwit us doesn't focus on this issue at all. Your take was Hooker's injury, and my claim he'd not opt to play in the bowl if he experienced a miraculous recovery. The injury would make him well aware how the bowl game could/would eliminate his being draftable. That was the issue prior to your current detour. Your response implies he should play anyway.

Does it mention anywhere about us getting a new DB coach, a new DC and a whole new secondary who is at least semi competent at defending passes?

Folks need to quit dwelling on the past. Milton is going to be our quarterback Friday Night. It’s getting old hearing fans wallow in this when Hooker himself is handling it better than some fans are. And if Hooker could play he would have but he is firmly behind Milton and supporting him. I hope Milton makes some of our fans that have called him terrible eat their words. GBO!!!!!

I hope those fans do what such fans usually do. He has a great game, they cheer, pretend they knew he would all along. Then the moment he has a bad game, go right back to putting him down. And then, and then, and then, along comes the Tuscaloosa Troll, and mystically turn them into miniature Bama minions.

Hooker is clearly out for the season, with an obvious injury. I haven't mentioned him in regards to playing in the Orange Bowl.

Yeah-yeah-yeah. You posted stuff I hadn't mentioned, either. Whatever, man/woman. It's not a life or death thing. Have a good day, enjoy the upcoming bowl game. I'd offer you some of the elk burgers we're having game night. But I wouldn't want to offend you.
