We can’t checker Neyland for South Carolina no matter how bad we suck. That should be reserved for games against elite teams. No need to imply SC is anywhere near that level

Man, we complain about our offense not being in the same page… we’re mirroring them as fans today I have seen calls for Checker Neyland, Black Out, and now Orange Out… I think I will go start a thread declaring a White Out for the game (even though since my wife just had surgery on her leg, I won’t be getting to go…)

Anything but a blackout against a team that black is one of their primary colors. Orange or White I don’t care but black against South Carolina would be just plain dumb. GBO

I can see both sides of the suggestion for a black out, yes, black is one of their primary colors, but I’m sure whoever suggested it feels this may be the Saturday we wear dark mode unis (has to be this one, A&M or Vandy since we won’t wear them for Georgia or for UConn since it’s homecoming) so a blackout w/ that could be appropriate… I was merely trying to point out there have been 3 different suggestions (4 if I go create my white out post {which Im kidding, I’m not gonna do that}) so we as fans are mirroring our offense w/ how synced up we are…

Black out is cool, but it's also one of SC's colors so I wouldn't want to paint Neyland in their colors. Check Neyland should be used for Florida, Alabama, Georgia or major OOC opponents. Orange out is the way to go IMO. Just a sea of orange would be pretty intimidating for an opposing team.

To me a "white out" or "black out" or "orange out" isn't about what the players wear, it's about the fans in the stands. UT fans wearing black makes absolutely no sense especially when playing a team whose primary colors include black.
