Oregon-Oklahoma Screw-up confirmed

Was it the replay official that got suspended. They should probably get his eyes checked before they let him come back. This did help me out in the pick-em contest though so I won't argue too much.

They said the whole crew. Said that not everyone was involved, but each had the responsibility to call a fair game and they didn't.

Glad to see officials answer to some type of authority. I on this board have asked the question to whom do this officials answer to several times, never got an answer....I assumed each conference has a branch that deals directly with the officials and the officials report to that chain of command, wasnt sure though.
Sucks for Oklahoma though, if it turns out this will be their only loss, it may cost them huge is $ and a title. So via budweiser...heres to you great men of genius award...''blind official with coke bottle glasses.

As the VN's resident OU apologist, I feel quite confident in saying that that will not be the only loss for the Sooners this year. Further, they had about 379,414 chances to put the game away. Allowing the game to come down to a call like that deserved a loss.

You have to give Oregon credit for making happen too. Had that been some other team they might have lost by one or something like that.

^ On my defense of the calls.

Still, as hatvol already said, Oklahoma still failed to put the game away and Oregon still went out and made big plays.

Don't forget, Oklahoma still had a chance to win it in the last seconds but the Ducks blocked the field goal try.

But...no matter how many chances the Okies had to put it away, it STILL came down to a bad call by the zebras deciding the outcome. I don't like Oklahoma at all but that call absolutely sucked!
