Oregon RB LeGarrette Blount signs with Titans

Worst case scenario - Blount can throw a haymaker at Joe Flacco whenever we play the Ravens again

This is a great pickup. I was thinking they would have drafted him. Great they were able to get him in UDFA.

He was close to signing with the 49ers but changed his mind after Fisher contacted him.

No, he saw the depth chart of both clubs. He said that if things don't workout that he'll go to the Niners; no hard feelings between him and Singletary.

Okay... He agreed to terms with the Niners then changed his mind after talking with Fisher, and of course the depth charts played a role. Nothing I said was incorrect.

Smart move on his part especially with Glen Coffee and Frank Gore out in SF. At best in SF he would be the 3rd back whereas with the Titans he has a good shot at being the guy who relieves Chris Johnson. He still won't get much playing time but some playing time is better than none.

Good move by the Titans...little risk and a chance for a big reward. I really liked Blount at ORE so he could really pay nice dividends for the Titans.

I can't see him getting ahead of Johnson or Ringer for that 2nd spot. Of course he won't pass CJ, either.
