Gotta love the Fighting Trees, I like the teams that stay irrelevant yet ruin someones day fairly often

Boise State folks must be conflicted; loving this game since guys like Craig James and others have been saying Oregon should be ranked ahead of them now because they are playing better football but hating this because their quality win isn't looking quite as quality.

Oregon's defense slept.

I guess nobody outside of Austin, Tuscaloosa or Gainesville wants to play for the national championship.

Ducks will still have a chance to redeem themselves on the road in Tuscon.

Quality wins have nothing to do with anything. Witness FUs ranking...

I'm waiting for droski to tell me again what an idiot I was for saying Stanford had made a brilliant hire when they snagged Harbaugh.

They need to be beating teams like Wake Forest at this point, but for them to still be in the Pac-10 race at this point is incredible.

actually my primarly comment was that he had zero talent and it would take years to turn it around.

What would you consider "turned around" at Stanford?

Consistently getting Bowl games and usually finishing in the top half of the Pac-10 is probably the best that program can hope for.

yup and his first two years he didn't get to a bowl game or finish in the top half of the pac-10 which is understandable. he's done a great job. no question.

I thought I read that Blount has been cleared to play as of today. Anybody else get that info?

well, good deal. Hopefully he learned from it. Like the coach said, it is a chance for him to learn something about something more than just football.
