I know this is hard to believe but Oregon has some awful uniforms.

They are playing K-State right now and they are wearing a white uniform and the only thing on the front is a green number...on the back a number with the players name in white....They should have to forfeit when they wear these unis.

at least they aren't over the top like most of their uni's. They went for the bland look tonight.

I think the basketball team decided they were not going to be outdone by the football team.

I'm also a Duck fan, and while I can't prove it, I think the uniforms are ugly on purpose-- the timing was just too dead on to be a coincedence.

About 5 years ago, there was an international anti slave labor law/treaty in the works. The students at UO supported it so overwhelmingly that the administration at Oregon passed a resolution publicly endorsing the law as one of the 'great humanitarian efforts of our generation'. Immediately, the head of Nike (a UO grad and huge financial supporter) released an angry statement to the university which basically called them traitors and said that unless they publicly retracted their support, he would pull all funding for various stadium & facility improvements which were already underway. The university made the retraction.

Just 2 months later, Oregon unveiled its on-going series of painfully ugly, Nike made uniforms.

The official line is that they are progressive, and geared toward a new generation of atheletes.

Personally, I think it's clear that the slave-labor loving snot who owns Nike made them ugly on purpose to forcefully remind the Ducks that they are his b*tch, and they should remember it every time their kids put on a uniform....

They also have a black uniform that is pretty much the same. All you can see on it is the number b/c the lettering is also in black.

I'm not really a fan of these, but Oregon has some pretty cool stuff every now and then. Like the Maui bball tournament this year, their uniforms had a floral type of trim, and so did the shoes. They also have a dark green uniform that has a camo pattern on it. It's pretty subtle, but at the same time adds an interesting touch.
