We see so many stories of women getting murdered by their ex or estranged husbands. Some were trying to be reasonable I’m sure. I think it’s been reported that she finished her nursing degree and is self sustainable. Smart decision not to become a stat imo.

More support for her kids is probably what she would’ve preferred. But this guy seems set on being a DA. Likely she was in fear for her safety and the safety of her children, money isn’t any good if you’re not alive to spend it. I don’t think that’s being stupid.

I get you’re thinking practically but again I think you’re removed from the reality that this dude is pretty unhinged and unpredictable. The wife’s first priority is her safety and the safety of her kids. It’s not like she went out of her way to force this DA to violate the protective order, she just played the cards she was dealt.
