Whats going on in town, anything? I will be down Friday early, until sunday evening. Looking for things to do! I definitely want to catch the USA soccer game FRI vs Costa Rica at 6:30, and i hear Schulz Brau Brewing Company is the official USA outlaw bar. Anyone here going to that? Any other activities for me and my buddy to get into?

Sadly I do not think anything is really planned for the city. Knoxville used to do Boomsday during the Labor Day holiday. It was a huge fireworks show and always brought a lot of vendors, food, and tourists to the downtown area. However, they no longer have it due to sponsorship and costs.

I'd check out the local breweries. Knoxville is really growing their craft beer scene. Schulz Brau has a very unique, castle like building with an awesome beer garden. Alliance, Saw Works, Pour Taproom, Merchants of Beer, Balter Beerworks, and many more.

Definitely going to Schulz Friday for the USA soccer game. Gotta find stuff to do after and Saturday!

It's a shame they stopped with Boomsday, was always a lot of fun.

I am over the moon that Knoxville is hosting a USMNT soccer match but bitter that I can't attend...

OP, if you're in town for Saturday I definitely recommend checking out the farmer's market in Market Square. Excellent fresh food, great community feel to it, delicious food trucks / restaurants in the area abound. Plus there will be orange everywhere since football season has finally started.

The Clairemont Lounge.
Ask for Blondie,
You're WELCOME!

If that doesn't work, go to the Clermont Lounge and ask for Blondie (or Lola: Girls will be boys and boys will be girls...).

Could be right. There were 3. JC must have burned down. Alcoa at John Sevier was sold long ago. The one near Cedsr Bluff still up and running.

I'm sure people are relieved to know all that now. Lol

Sort of confusing because I think that Krystal in front of the Knoxville one burned down.
