Just like the way he presents himself, he was able to succeed at Temple of all places, and is in a bad spot with all the mess going on down there.

I don't care for Miami because of all of Da U crap, but it's rare that I'll keep watching the game to see how a coach does.

I do feel bad for him, finally getting that dream job, then the crap hits the fan. Since the administration there is every bit as guilty, they owe him at least four years, unconditionally.

I wish Dooley would go hardcore old-school and do the coat and tie thing. Orange pants, white hounds-tooth coat, orange Tennessee tie. SO totally want this to happen

I like him because he's stuck around with that giant knife planted in his back by the Miami administration. That takes some balls.

He's going to Penn State within two years anyways. :)

Question: Did we even offer Golden after Kiffin left? Because if we didn't, we are dumb.

Golden is the man and Miami is very lucky to have him at the helm right now. It sucks what the administration did to him, but he's got the most job security of any coach in college football right now. If he starts losing games, theres no way Miami fires him because of how he conducted himself when the scandal broke. If he wants to go elsewhere, the social backlash if Miami didn't let him out of his contract would be too much to bear.

He's coaching a team loaded with NFL talent and we just knocked OSU out of the top 25 for the first time in 7 years. Al Golden doesn't need our pity.
