Crazy what happens when Will Friend and Jeremy Pruitt isn't coaching you....
It's going to be interesting watching Auburn this year with Friend coaching. Wouldn't be surprised if they have one of the best olines in the country.

Simone Biles is jealous of your mental gymnastics in continuously coming up with ways to defend our prior incompetent staff/administration

If I were a betting man I’d say Arky since it’s the home state and Pittman is one of the best in the biz with OL…but I can still dream right?

This guy and Prunty along with the other transfers is exactly the kind of transfer portal class we need for a quick turn around
I don’t think this guy is any good…. He had already been beaten out by a true freshman last year and only saw garbage minutes before opting out of the season.

So Wanya is going to have to compete with the now sophomore?

Dude's been in college for 2 years...I'm not ready to label him a bust based on a freshman year that he probably should have redshirted and an opt out COVID year

He did redshirt his freshman year…. Got beat out in 2020 by a tru freshman( covid year….. this year he is 3rd on the depth chart….. still has time but you have to wonder about his potential at this point.

You think he would join a team that’s under the bullseye of a Possible NCAA NUCLEAR BOMB! ?

I didn't realize he redshirted...247 has him as a JR so I assumed that he was forced to play his freshman year...so if he was a RS FR last year and opted out that should mean he is a RS FR this year with 4 years left...

I agree it's a red flag that he is buried on the depth chart in his 3rd year...but when I look at our depth chart at OT and I acknowledge that most of the OT's we have are probably better suited for OG then I think it's worth a shot to bring on a consensus 4* and hope he pans out

I disagree….. there are several for reasons for transfers….. some good and some bad….. this one appears to be one of the worse…… he seems to be way overrated out of high school….. can he still pan out? Sure, but he usually those guys never make it. I have a feeling he would be on the bench behind those guys that are better suited for guards.

More to it than that. Much like Wanya was apparently not getting the coaching he needed here, maybe this guy isn't getting the coaching he needs there? I'll leave it up to our staff to evaluate that possibility because no one on here can speak to that.

We don’t have a clue if wanya is improved yet or not….. I definitely want him if the staff feels like he has more talent left untapped…. My comments were toward fans that want him bc he was highly rated out of high school….. that rating means nothing when you reach a college campus.
