1. The cheerleaders have new uniforms. (You expected this kind of fluff because I'm female, so that one's out of the way.)
2. The program is conscious of the fact that the DJ/music may appear at odds with the POTSB/music. Multiple times today Sterling Henton (the DJ) called for applause for the band. I appreciated the way it was done today.
3. The $5 program they sold highlighted the history of the program, the traditions, the current players, and the recruiting class of 2014. If you're someone who doesn't know alot about the Vols and take your family to the game, that was a nice souvenir, imo. (It might be that way every year, this was my first year to buy one.)
4. Our video guys have got to be some of the most amazing individuals ever! This isn't a new video, but they played it today. When you're starved for Tennessee Football, and you get back into that stadium after five months, and see this..... spectacular! Bulletproof
5. The VFL's that were there made the day for me. Al Wilson presenting the award named after him; the former players coming up to congratulate Coach Cut on his award; the former players moving onto the field to cheer and watch the Circle of Life drill.
This coming season is going to be hard to watch at times. But if you've followed this program for any length of time, you see it and you feel it. Tennessee is coming back.
Go Vols!
