Does OU have a better O and D than our SEC opponents?

If so what SEC teams are better on each specific side of the ball.

I don't want to hear well all SEC are obviously better crap...

Bama D certainly can match up with OU... except they don't have a freak like striker... at least I hope they don't

otherwise I'll hang up and listen

I don't think any defense will be as difficult as OUs from a pass rushing standpoint. They are a matchup nightmare.

On offense I think Alabamans offense is better due to their receivers and running backs but the QB situation is not as good as OU.

Overall I think Alabama is a tougher team on paper but I think ole miss could be a matchup problem for us tho.

UGAs O is almost as good as is SCs.

Bamas are probably very similar on both sides. That was our hardest game of the year. Glad it is over.

Did you see what Oklahoma did to AJ and Alabama in the bowl game last year. I believe Oklahoma will be in the National Championship game against Fla. St. Best D-line by far we will face this year.

nope we gonna whip day azz

lol, okay, in seriousness, I think it's hard to tell (still) with a few teams we face. Still unsure of Mizzou on defense, but the O Line seems to be okay. But then again, UCF hasn't really shown they can get into the backfield and wreck a QB yet either.

USCe is just...weird. It's all going to be dependent on which team happens to show up. They sucked royally against A&M, but seemed to do okay with UGA. But in all three of their games they have given up a lot of points which leads me to believe their defense is suspect.

UGA seems to be okay, but not great on defense. Their O line seems to be able to open some decent holes for Gurly, but then again, I don't think they've faced a strong front seven yet.

Bama...hasn't played anyone of note. I'm still on the fence with West Virginia and their ability. So it's hard to tell.

I think Florida is one loss away from dumpster fire status. They wrecked East Michigan, but then again, who hasn't. Then had Kentucky take them to the wire. Next weekend will be extremely telling of which direction Florida is heading. I don't expect a win, but if they can hang with Bama...who knows.

And Kentucky is one that I'm unsure of. I think the team is heading in the right direction, but still not sure if it's going to stick or not. I think they are the spoiler team in the SEC though and not one to be taken lightly.

Ole Miss is another one I'm unsure of. They let Boise hang for the first half and came out and annihilated them in the second. Beat the brakes off Vandy (who hasn't) and Louisiana. But really, they don't play anyone of note until October 4th when they host Bama at home.

And Vandy? lulz

I cannot think of a better front 7 we have faced unless it was Nebraska in the 1997 Orange Bowl. jmo.

The DL for OU is a nightmare for an offensive line coach. Stunts, spins, drop into coverage, etc. with incredibly fast, incredibly big DLmen. I think they'll be the best DL we'll see this year. They are positioned for a NC run. I hope Bama, Aub or LSU takes if from them.

I still don't like OU b/c of Stoops. Its my opinion the coaching legacies from the state of FL play and coach dirty. He's no exception.

I think Bama and Mizzou will be the toughest teams we play in the SEC this year. The east still looks pretty even compared to the West. It probably helps that Georgia and USCe both have losses and are at this point probably not playing for a national title. That way the refs are probably not as likely to "help" them to victories.
