I don’t ever remember Ga Tech being really good.
I remember Reggie Ball, not sure who was before him. They won the natty in 1990. Shared with Colorado. Colorado had a game where they got 5 downs at the end of a game to win, so there has always been a controversy.
GT also had some pretty good teams in the late 90s when George O'Leary was their coach. Had a QB named Joe Webb (I think?) who was just unbelievable.
You nailed it. Of course those Bobby Dodd teams were excellent before he took them out of the SEC.They won the natty in 1990. Shared with Colorado. Colorado had a game where they got 5 downs at the end of a game to win, so there has always been a controversy.

Joe Hamilton . . . and yes, he was pretty dynamic. They won the natty in 1990. Shared with Colorado. Colorado had a game where they got 5 downs at the end of a game to win, so there has always been a controversy.

That would be former Tennessee starting QB - A.J. Suggs.I remember Reggie Ball, not sure who was before him.
Yes . . . He had a very Joe Milton-esque moment.Yeah, Georgia retired his jersey.

Joe Hamilton. Dude was like 5'9" but was a straight baller. The year we won the natty I think was his senior year. I believe they were 10-2. Beat the Dwags. They won the natty in 1990.
