Can some of the experts tell me if working hard on Whitaker and Thornton is something we would be doing regardless or if it means that it looks like we have definitely missed on Uko (who even I am convinced stays out west now), Quarles (who I wanted to sway from USCe) and Todd Chandler?

Whitaker is our best shot and we will probably get mahoney from juco imo. Uko and the oithers I woudlnt hold my breath on.and I'm no expert either so it could go oppisite of what I say that was mo

Mahoney will be a vol imo as well, and I still believe Quarles could be swayed but the season outcome will be important. If SC goes 9-3 or something like it, he wont switch. They need to have a meltdown like 6-6 or 7-5 with a bowl loss and UT needs to impress with a 7-5 record IMO. Coach O can get him I believe.
