Demonstrations by these "illegal aliens" are incredibly bothersome to me (some of you might be shocked, as I have expressed my beliefs many times in favor of these same people.) How stupid can the people who show up to these rallies be?

Without these rallies, the American public would be focused on the following campaign issues:

• The war in Iraq
• Tax reform
• Abortion/Embryonic Stem Cell Research
• Handsome/Pretty mugs
• Sweet talkers

Yet, everytime they show up en masse, the fight against illegal immigration is fueled again, and becomes a priority campaign issue. If they just shut up and work, there would not be a large enough outcry for politicians to do anything about.

Cops have been to them. It's one reason the number of attendees has dropped. They're being watched.

Having watched the ones in Phoenix last year and heard about the ones this year, there was no move made to arrest anyone. While attendance has dropped I think the raids that are going on have made the illegals think twice.
