Discipline is something that a coaching staff must work hard on to instill in a group of young men, and get them to understand their roll as part of a team concept. When you have a lack of discipline on a team, you see the results by yellow flags flying to the ground. As I watched from section B, I could not have seen a more perfect block in the back, done to perfection, than what happened on the kickoff return. How many times have you heard a coach say, if you can read his name "don't hit him"! That's not hard to understand. Or is it.
Yesterday, I took my son and one of his friends to the Vol Walk, they are only 12 years old. My son's friend saw the Vol Walk for the first time in his life. The Vol Walk looks more like a Pimp Convention. Styling and Profilling was the theme of the day. So the bottom line is, What should I expect on the field. I got yesterday. 27-14
